2. Shangri-La (Zhongdian)

After Beijing, this area called Shangri-La is very quiet and beautiful. Perfect to take a walk in the mountains and meet nice Tibetan people. Altitude is more than 11,000 feet, so catching your breath is important.

Our beautiful Tibetan house at the Banyan Tree Hotel. High quality and very expensive. The bed is 8 feet wide and 7.5 feet long. An imperial bed.....!

Tibettan people put their wishes on pieces of cloth (kind of praying)..... so the wind will take the wishes to their god.....
